This is an InVols prototype. There was a time I collaborated with the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, they needed a visualization software for there simulation volumetric datasets - interaction of a laser impulse with plasma. Mathematically there were several scalar fields to be visualized.
